Smoky quartz is a specific variety of quartz with admixtures of aluminium and iron. These admixtures (and sometimes also irradiation) are responsible for smoky quartz’s colour. The deposits are located in the Alps, Czechia or in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil, which is where our stones are from.

Smoky Quartz uniqueness: Smoky quartz has a smoky brown colour and it varies from dark, semitrasparent to translucent. Sometimes, the colour can be patchy or “cloud-like”.

Use: Rose quartz can be charming interior decorations as well as valuable pieces of a mineralogical collection.

About the product: Rose quartz has been cut and smoothed out into various irregular shapes. Their size ranges approximately between 4 and 9 cm and their weight approx. between 0.1 and 0.4 kg. The product is sold by weight; the price is per 1 kg.
