Chrysoprase is the most precious variety of chalcedony. The stone is typical for its bright green colour influenced by a small admixture of nickel compounds. Chrysoprase often occurs in silicate deposits of nickel in many areas around the world, from which Brazil and Australia are the most famous ones.

Special conditions/ treatment: Chrysoprase is prone to cracking due to sudden changes in temperature. In higher temperatures, the stones dry-out, lose their colour, crack and whiten.

About the product: Rough pieces of chrysoprase are carefully arranged into three-layered paperboard boxes - these are firm and resistant, which makes them easy to store. The size of the stones in a box is aproximately 5 to 10 cm. The boxes are wrapped into stretch cling, which prevents them from damage. Folded boxes provide a complex presentation of our minerals.
