Angel Turquenite

Handcrafted turquenite angel figure.Turquenite is a turquoise-coloured howlite. Thanks to a great porosity and absorption ability of howlite, the stone can be dyed with various colours from which turquoise is the most popular one. It is often used as a cheaper substitution for turquoise in stone jewellery. If we look at its chemical structure, turquenite is calcium borosilicate.
