Agate Teal Slice Metal Plated Pendant
Agate stands out with its charming colour and banded lines, creating impressive patterns. These are influenced by dye absorption into the stone’s porous structure. The teal colour is achieved by cool-dye solutions, in which the stones are immersed for a couple of weeks. If we look at its chemical structure, teal agate is a variety of chalcedony – a general name for fibrous, cryptocrystalline quartz. Our agates come from Brazil.
