Jade Guatemala
A green to grayish-green mineral that has often been used to create figurines and small decorative objects. Some civilizations, such as the Olmecs or the Chinese, valued jadeite even more than gold and other precious stones. To this day, China is renowned for the emerald-green variety called imperial jade, sourced from Burma, whose value rivals that of diamonds. Our raw material comes from Guatemala. In terms of composition, it is an aluminum, iron, and sodium silicate belonging to the pyroxene group.
