Smoky quartz is a specific variety of quartz with admixtures of aluminium and iron. These admixtures (and sometimes also irradiation) are responsible for smoky quartz’s colour - it varies from dark, semitrasparent to translucent smoky brown. Sometimes, the colour can be patchy or “cloud-like”. The main deposits are located in the Alps, Czechia or in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil. Our specimens come from Brazil.

Druses are aggregates of crystals on the surface of a rock or mineral. Points are big long crystals formed by erosion and desintegration of druses. Product "specimen" refers to both clusters of a few big crystal points with its druse partially or fully eroded away and classic druse-like formations with or more dominant bigger points.

Use: Minerals can be charming interior decorations but also valuable pieces of your mineralogical collection.

About the product: The AAA quality crystals are not smoothed out; their fine shape and smooth sides are purely natural. The product is sold by weight; the price is per 1 kg. Due to the nature of the product, only pallet shipping is available.
