Amethyst Brejinho B

Amethyst is a purple gemstone – a variety of quartz. The striking colour of this stone is a result of ionisation pointed at a small admixture of iron compounds in the stone’s structure. Amethyst forms inside basalt cavities, where it creates large crystals. The richest deposits of this mineral are in Brazil. These pieces come from the Brejinho mine in Brazil.

Special conditions/ treatment: Amethyst is a very firm and compact stone, so there is no need for special handling.
