Rose Quartz South Africa
Rose quartz is a popular light pink translucent mineral. It is a variety of quartz, which is the most widespread mineral on Earth. Its distinctive pink colour is caused by admixtures of manganese oxides. The more intense the colour is, the higher is the price of the stone. The main deposits are located in Brazil, Madagascar, South Africa and Namibia. Rose quartz is widely known for its fine, light shades of pink and it is popular among both jewellers and collectors.
Stone´s uniqueness: This rose quartz come from JAR. Stones from South Africa may come in deeper shades, stable even after years. In comparison with some Brazilian variants, African stones are more opaque.
Special conditions/ treatment: There is no need for special handling with rose quartz.
Use: Mini tumbled stones (chips) are used for the production of various decorative items and ornamental mosaics. Size 3 - 5 mm is also suitable as filling for small glass bottles.
About the product: We offer this product in only in 5 kg package. Stones are packed in firm plastic bags.
