Rock Crystal with Rutile Tumbled Pendant

Crystal is one of the most popular minerals. It has been known to people since ancient times. Stones with needle-like crystals of rutile, which influence the colour of each piece, are also known as Venus’ hair. Inclusions in these crystals shade in a silver to red-brown colour, but the most desired are golden stones. Rarely, the stone has golden stars with metallic grey hematite centre in its structure. The minerals are from Minas Gerais in Brazil. If we look at its chemical structure, crystal is the purest, jewel variety of quartz.
