Unakite is a compound of epidote, feldspar and quartz. Such composition influences unakite’s design, which features green-pink shades and striking patterns. In 1874, F. H. Bradley named the stone after its original deposit in the Unaka Range in the USA. Our unakite is from South Africa.

If we look at its chemical structure, unakite is epidote, feldspar and quartz.
