Smoky quartz is a specific variety of quartz with admixtures of aluminium and iron. These admixtures (and sometimes also irradiation) are responsible for smoky quartz’s colour - it varies from dark, semitrasparent to translucent smoky brown. Sometimes, the colour can be patchy or “cloud-like”. The hue of this stone has been enhanced by irradiation. The deposits of smoky quartz are located in the Alps, Czechia or in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil, which is where our specimens come from.

About the product: The price is per 1 box. The box contains rough druses of various shapes and sizes. We carefully arrange our minerals into three-layered paperboard boxes; these are firm and resistant, which makes them easy to store. Boxes are wrapped into stretch cling, which prevents them from damage. Folded boxes provide a complex presentation of minerals.
