There are fifteen variants of garnet. Pyrope (red), almandine (red-purple), grossular (green) and spessartine (orange) are the most popular ones. Garnets are a group of important rock-forming minerals of silicates, which contain a wide range of elements such as aluminium, iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, chromium and other. These pieces are from mines in Bahia, Brazil.

Garnet uniqueness: Garnet forms symmetrical crystals, most often in the shape of a dodecahedron. These are very fissile stones, which needs manual processing and sorting.

Special conditions/ treatment: Garnet is stable against acids but highly prone to impact damage.

About the product: Stones are packed in firm plastic bags.
