Blue liberite is a member of the feldspar family, formed by quartz, calcite, iron oxides, magnetite and other minerals. This piece is from Minas Gerais in Brazil, where it forms large blocks.
Blue Liberite Uniqueness: Blue liberite has a captivating design. On the surface, the stone is dark with other minerals’ colours shining through, mainly in blue and pinkish.
Special conditions/ treatment: Blue liberite is a breccia of different minerals; therefore, it is prone to scratches. Also, do not expose it to abrupt changes in temperature.
