Kunzite AA Bead
Kunzite is pink to a light purple mineral, named after an American mineralogist G. F. Kunze. The stone exhibits an interesting optical phenomenon, the so-called pleochroism. In other words, you can see three different shades of the stone depending on the angle you are looking at it. Kunzite is facetted so that the most intense colour stands out. The raw material in AA quality is from Nigeria.
If we look at its chemical structure, kunzite is a gem variety of spodumene.
