Malachite Pendant
If we look at malachite’s chemical structure, it is copper bicarbonate. In ancient Egypt, people carved cameos, amulets and other decorative objects from this tone. Grounded malachite served as a dye for painters or as a make-up. Malachite is an opaque stone in green shades, which may include lighter tints but also a black-green colour. Thin, banded lines gently complement its striking colours. Malachite comes from Kongo.
Special conditions/ treatment: As the stone is manually polished and very fragile, it is are prone to mechanical damage.
About the product: Elegant polished malachite pendant, size approx. 35 mm and thickness approx. 60 mm. The stone is secured in a nickel-free metal frame. Malachite pendants are sold individually.
