Citrine is a yellow variety of quartz. The highest quality raw material is from mines in the city of Maraba, Goiás, Brazil. Natural light yellow citrine is often called "Lemon Quartz" on the gemstone market and as it is very rarely found, therefore the stone is often made by heat-treating amethyst. These citrines has the same origin.

Citrine uniqueness: Citrines made from quality Brazilian amethyst stand out with their goldish shade of yellow and they are a popular substitution for expensive natural citrines. On these particular stones, you can find yellow shades of citrine together with opaque white quartz.

Special conditions/ treatment: Citrine is a firm and compact stone stable against the most acids.

Use: Mini tumbled stones (chips) are used for the production of various decorative items and ornamental mosaics. Size up to 5 mm is also suitable as filling for small glass bottles.

About the product: We offer this product in 1 kg or 5 kg package. The product is packed in firm plastic bags.
